Arkas - the TIDAL of digital music streamers. Designed to be the perfect digital music content controller for TIDAL high end systems. The approach of this unique device was simple: the best streamer we can think of. TIDAL performance, reliability and the perfect musical data file transport were the merits when we started the project design. This included a proprietary data connection the our TIDAL Camira DMC (2021) to overcome the disadvantages of the usual connections via SPDIF RCA, AES, or USB: the TIDAL-Link. With the unique TIDAL-Link we overcome the usual compromises either in sound quality or the lack of possibility of playing certain files.
In general the TIDAL Arkas concept can be compared with the build of a super sports car: as little weight as possible, by leaving all outside the car not absolutely necessary, combined with the most power possible - to get the best performance. 

Transferred as analogy onto the Arkas, this means it has no internal storage system and an extremely potent power supply. All music data storage like NAS systems and hard drives are outside the TIDAL Arkas. This way the TIDAL Arkas stays the center of content management as top streamer for many years, proprietary connected to the discrete built TIDAL Camira, while data-storage computer components with its low half-life are not built inside. And this is also exactly what keeps it as "lean and fast as possible" - to use the sports car analogy - for the very best performance.
And whatever the future will provide, the Arkas is designed to be upgraded and adjusted then just for the streaming PCB board, since some things will not change while digital technology does: the timeless TIDAL cabinet and the extreme power supply inside with the peripheral components to run the streaming board .
